Learning at MOLD

MOLD is a forward-thinking design and maker studio based in Makati, Metro Manila. Our unique approach to design and thinking combines cutting-edge 3D printing technologies with a circular design philosophy, fostering innovation and sustainability in every creation.

As a design studio, a makerspace, and a learning hub, we cultivate a space for design exploration, hands-on creativity, and community collaboration.

Youth Programs

A series of kids programs in Manila built around hands-on making and a STEAM education program.

Our 3D printing workshops introduce kids to 3D modeling with Tinkercad and digital fabrication using Bambu Lab printers, opening early doors into design thinking and creative problem-solving. Our Cardboard Club takes a different material but the same mindset: younger students learn to break down, reshape, and rebuild everyday cardboard into paintings, sculptural forms, and even full-scale furniture.

Across both tracks, the goal is the same: to help children see the materials around them as something worth working with. Our STEAM education curriculum is suitable for primary and preschool programs, and structured to grow with each student across sessions.

Adult Programs

MOLD's design programs are built for people who want to make something with their hands and understand how it came together. These workshops cover a range of making disciplines, with new themes and projects introduced each cycle.

Classes move across different themes and materials, from 3D printing workshops where you design and fabricate your own objects, to project-based sessions like lamp making that take you through a full build from concept to finish.

Every session at our maker studio is structured around the design thinking process, giving you a technical foundation alongside the creative framework to keep going on your own.

Maker Series

The Maker Series is a recurring workshop program in MOLD's maker studio, built around a particular material, technique, and line of inquiry each edition.

All editions run on a simple premise: that the most useful thing a maker can share isn't just a skill, but the thinking that shaped it. Each series brings researcher-practitioners into the studio, makers and creatives who share MOLD's values around circular design and material intelligence, not just to instruct, but to open their process and practice. In every session, participants are granted access to a kind of depth that only comes from sustained engagement with a discipline.
