MOLD sits at the intersection of making, learning, and sustainability, building objects, programs, and systems that help ideas move from concept to reality in a circular design economy.
Beyond being a makerspace and a design studio, MOLD exists as an ecosystem where designers, educators, makers, communities, and other practitioners of creative work come together to explore how things are made, why they are made, and what kind of future they shape.
We started MOLD with a simple observation:
Design, education, fabrication, and sustainability often exist in isolation.
Schools teach theory without making.
Studios design without teaching.
Fabrication happens without context.
Sustainability is talked about, but rarely practiced in tangaible ways.
At MOLD, we bring these together into one integrated system.
Our design philosophy asserts making as a way of thinking, not just a way of producing objects.
That learning happens best when hands are involved.
And that a true circular design economy only becomes real when circularity is woven into the work itself and embedded in daily practice, not treated as an afterthought.
Design & Fabrication
We design and produce original objects, lamps, and custom pieces using 3D printing, digital fabrication, and small-batch production. We also offer 3D design services and collaborate with brands and institutions on design and fabrication commissions that require experimentation, precision, and care.
Education & Community
We run STEAM learning programs and hands-on workshops for kids, adults, and schools, all centered on making and circular thinking. Our classes prioritize process, curiosity, and confidence over perfect outcomes.
Circularity and Material Exploration
We explore how waste, offcuts, and alternative materials can be transformed into meaningful products. Circular design at MOLD is practical, iterative, and always evolving.
Culture & Systems
