Workshop Breakdown

Day 1: Introduction to 3D Printing & First Print

•    Understanding the Bambu Lab Printer: Parts, functions, and safety guidelines

•    Learning how to use Bambu Studio (slicing software)

•    Preparing and slicing a downloaded 3D model from Thingiverse, Printables, or MakerWorld

•    Printing your first 3D object

Day 2: Introduction to Tinkercad & Designing a Luggage Tag

•    Getting started with Tinkercad, a beginner-friendly design tool

•    Exploring basic features: Shape library, grouping, resizing, rotating, and adding text

•    Step-by-step guide to designing a custom luggage tag

•    Preparing your design for 3D printing

Day 3: Hands-On Challenge – Designing a Pen Holder

•    Applying what you’ve learned to create a functional and decorative pen caddy

•    Designing from scratch with guidance and feedback

•    Presenting your design choices and process to the group

Finalizing and printing your personalized pen holder

What to Prepare

🎨 Bring an idea or inspiration for your luggage tag and pen holder designs.

💻 If possible, bring a laptop for a better experience using Tinkercad (optional, but recommended).
